Eliza Densmore

A Western Massachusetts native, Eliza was raised on the Beatles and inspired by bygone folkies such as Eva Cassidy and Karen Dalton. Anchoring her musicality in the 21st century — with influences ranging from alt-R&B singer Lianne La Havas and electro-soul songwriter James Blake to folk-star The Tallest Man on Earth and Justin Vernon's Bon Iver — Eliza weaves disparate influences into her sound. With sparse electric guitar textures, wistful melodies, and observational songwriting, her music both enlivens and partakes in modern life's ennui, belonging somewhere between your tumbledown front porch stoop and a hazy hangout in Brooklyn. She is currently working on her debut EP.
